The Empire has set itself up ever tragically with its back against the ocean. This is one of many cliffs that make up the backwater lands of the Jaruc Empire, through this is one of the more renown. The rocky area is one that fools tend not to trek, lives are lost easily because of pathetic and idiotic missteps. Grass grows between the rocks and some trees have managed to root themselves. The cliff is a large one with a steep rock face slanting inward. The cliff overlooks the choppy waters, the salty liquid as it slams into the rock face and foams and spills. The rocks below are pointed and sharp, and the ravenous birds ever plentiful. This place has been used many times as the executioners all and the place to commit suicide. But, no matter such deaths that float around here this place is rather beautiful. The perfect place to see the sun rise or set, and the perfect lookout to spot any oncoming storms before they arrive.

The rocky terrain is hard to traverse by most, but those of the Empire have grown accustom to marching over it. The area is a mixture between a mountain and a rocky upbringing. Similar to when two tectonic plates collide and split the earth upward, this land is tough and hard yet… plentiful. The grass is green and the area lush, many deer float about here though bigger prey is harder to find. Among this tall, viciously rough mound, hidden among it is many cracks in the earth, pits to fall into and never come out. Awareness rewards its master, no less. Sprained ankles, broken bones… are the gifts for those who run recklessly over this large patch of land. Short rain showers aren’t uncommon as well as caves and hidden places within some gorges. This is another strategic land in the possessions of the Empire, seen as a large blockade that would slow any force large enough to pose as a threat the empire down for countless number of days. There are usually hunting camps and scouting parties littered about the land… and they aren’t very friendly to most.

Oh the ever dreaded forest. Well, not really ‘ever dreaded’ and really is ‘forest’ doing justice for those thick, plentiful humongous things about the world. Its more like… rarely visited but hardly feared, knotted old burned down forest that is still doing its very, very best to recuperate from the ever ‘tragic’ fire incident. Which its doing a horrible job at, the ground is hard and lacking in nutrition for the plants and the charred remains of corpses and greenery has yet to be fully decomposed. The scent of fire still lingers here and most avoid this rather sparse tree-y area that is close to the edge of the Jaruc border. One can occasionally find prey here but, more often then not all that is slinking about this place is a rogue creature, or a rather ill-tempered Baisu musing over how the imbeciles he commands managed to burn down his d**n forest. But! Yes. Eicvu Hirbu - foolish incident.

Inside the mountain lies a great cave. Large and mighty astounding it is, for the sheer size is staggering. It makes one wonder of the whole mountain has been hallowed out at the Deity’s will, or if the mountain is even larger then what it appears to be. The cave’s opening is obvious and airy. And despite the fact this is a cave few birds roost and few bats dive in. Stalagmites rise from the ground, the rocks rubbed smooth and glittery. Jewels are located here and there and their prize and worth is unimaginable. Many of them are offerings and gifts, and few dare steal from the God in fear of his anger. The inside of the mountain is his home and it is said that deep within its chamber hides the alter and the heart that is his… and that this is where Enger ventured to free The Sleeping from his Slumber. This place is considered ‘holy grounds’, the grounds of Baisu, the Second Brother. His land is large and mighty and strong, a maze, a labyrinth to get lost in. Those who venture within, be aware you walk into the Lion’s Den… and that an offering is very well expected. If one manages to the end of the Great Hall, [which is many, many meters long and wide] one comes to see the Shrine, place dedicated to sacrifices and offerings expected.

Oh, now this is every interesting thing. One quite renown about the world, this place is rather bloody fantastic. Its not on the mainland, you see. There is a very long and very tall bridge, a relic, ever old and worn that lasts for quite a ways. A long, long walk above the crashing waves below it is before one finally reached the wrought iron gates of the castle fortress. The subject stands on its own lot of land, large and booming its an impressive sight, no matter who you are or your origins. There is much greener on the high island above the sea and always the lovely scent of the salt water drifting through the place. Inside the black-brick fortress are numerous rooms and contraptions. Very odd is the architecture but undoubtedly amazing. Awesome sights and in its own grotesque manner there are numerous sculptures that are awfully interesting. This place is a symbol of power, strength, and eternality and it very well strikes it within the hearts of many, if not all.
